It is a common perception that hostel life has a unique impact on the pattern of student's socially and behaviourally different .Hostel life is a combination of different cultural backgrounds ,in the hostel life students learn to live with different cultural background people .There is a popular quotation "Time Changes People Changes".It is best for hostel students

Life in the hostel is different from the life in the home .Life in a hostel makes a student self - dependent .It makes him smart,active and discipline .The surrounding atmosphere influences the students in our college .Nearby our college there is Neyyardam , Deer Rehabilitation Centre Crocodile Park,Elephant Rehabilitation Centre ,Lion Safari Park , and Shivananda Ashram-World Famous Yoga Centre .It is a calm and quiet area where students in the hostel enjoying the beauty of nature every single moments breathing fresh air & drink plenty of fresh water.

Students with innovative minds and ideas as well as creative talents should be encouraged .Hostel is a platform where students show their creative talents in front of their friends.It will gain confidence Students will show their talents such as singing ,dancing ,at right after studies .it is a very good experience and unforgettable moments in life.

The hostel has a mess which at times is run on a contract/co-operative basis.Food is served in the mess .Students eat their food together in the mess and they share their ideas with their friends.

Students assemble together to watch television in the front hall .They share their ideas and comment on a particular subject matter .They also discuss in groups about the daily events,politics ,current issues etc.In the evening students to play football in the ground .It is very good entertainment for
students .They manage their team in a proper manner.Every team members actively involved in the game .Thus in a hostel students are found in hostel .Some are very studious.They always remain busy in their studies .Some are mischievous.They give little time to studies.Students shouln't misuse their time.They should utilize their time in studies,games,group discussions,cultural activities.Students of various communities,religion,stay together in a hostel.

Students develop a sense of unity in diversity and broaden their outlook.They learn lesson of
"co-operation ".Students learn many things in the hostel .They help on another in the hour of needs.They become enduring friends. They learn to become independent .In hostel,students home to live accordingly to the rules of the hostel.They have to wake up on time,sleep on times,have food on time,study on time etc.This helps them in maintaining discipline in their life style.

In hostel,students have to do a number of works by themselve like taking of their belongings,washing their clothes,arranging their beds etc.This help them to be self reliant.Students develop a skill to manage all their things.They learn what is right and what is wrong.Here,they don't depend on their parents .They depend on themselves.

Hostel life makes the students life regular and systematic.Students living in thje hostel face many difficulties and hurdles such as financial crises,adjustment,personal helplessness,distress,changes in eating and sleeping habits and many other issues .

Students face life pratically on their own in a hostel .Life in a hostel instills confidence in them .They develop a feeling of repsect for other religions and culture .They learn to help and co-operate
